Anyone have a Sahara Tan with chrome wheels?

Im starting to look at replacing my stock steelies, black is the obvious choice to go with the tan, but I am curious what chrome may look like on it.

We were wheeling/mudding with white and chrome rims back in the day and loved it. Hell, no one had black rims. Nothing wrong with chrome, white, black or whatever type/look you choose. The anti-chrome theme on this board cracks me up.

Looks alright with the right colors and not over done. Was at Costco today and saw '12 Sport Unlimited Silver with Chrome Door handles, 16" chrome wheels with stock tires and the steel spare still on the back. Just don't understand sometimes. Kind of like the guy at discount asking me if I only wanted 4 wheels/tires with my upgrade I'm doing in that department. You have to do 5. Haha.

I've seen it done right on white, not sure about other colors.

Don't think chrome will ever go out of style, but flat black seems to be the in thing. Personally I think wheels should be noticed, so the "black out" type phenomenon doesn't appeal to me. I do like 'classic styled' chrome/machined wheels on JK's. Why do flat black like everyone else is doing. Do your own thing.

Got my JKS back from the shop late this afternoon. Will post pics sometime today. It looks awesome with the new BFG Mud-Terrains mounted on
MT Classic II's.

I have always been a black out rim guy myself, but since I bought the thing for the wife, I found one with the 18 inch OEM chrome 5 spoke rims on it. I think she will like it - but not my thing.....

/sry can't post pics yet.....

Is it a no no to put a web link?

I prefer the two tone look. Solid chrome or black is just too much.

Look fantastic! Transforms your Wrangler to the next level... Polished or Chrome?

I have to get rid of my ugly 17" stockers. Thanks for posting.

Polished...I had to get something that improved the stance. Now to work on the bumpers, but that will be for another mod.

I feel the same way when I see plasti-dipped factory wheels

Individual taste.

I just bought SS side steps like these:

and I'm saving up for these wheels AR Fuel (Gloss Black w/machined lip)

I think they'll compliment each other quite well on my black 13' JKU Sport S. I want to do something different than the 'flat black' look that everyone and their brother is doing right now.
