I'm looking to score a set of tpms for my second set of tires/wheels. I'm wondering if the ebay cheapies are worth buying or if they will fail after a few days. Would I be better off using the Procal to cancel out the tpms on my dashboard?
Recently swapped my stocks for 35" trail grapplers but will be going back to stock since I cannot afford the re-gear at the moment. Figure I'll just leave the stock tmps on the nittos for when I get to go wheeling.
I bought them off of eBay because I was selling my stock wheels. They are still working after 6 months. As far as I know the procal cannot completely disable the tpms only lower its threshold on certain years but I could be mistaken.
Got mine of Amazon like Copperhead said, They work fine he guy at the tire shop said they are the same as oem one he has seen, they also synced with the tpms in about 10 miles.
I got 5 TPMS sensors off Amazon for $53 shipped. everything i read said they would work and talked to people who run them on 15's on here. Didn't install them yet because i didn't buy my 315's yet. Ebay would probably be your best bet or Amazon like I did there is some real steals on those sites for TPMS.
The ebay ones are in fact identical to the factory ones for 13 and newer. I have bought 2 sets now and the part numbers and writing on the ebay ones are the same as the factory ones that came out of mine. I have my threshold set low with my procal and like when I am off road to see the individual psi of each tire. I run 14psi off road .
I'm guessing the ebay ones are they same as the Amazon ones i bought. OEM MOPAR TPMS sensors... Good to know even more people are having success with them.
