Anyone see the new Wrangler TV commercial :: what flag mount is that?

Tried searching the forum first, but didn't locate anything close to what I just saw on a Jeep TV ad tonight. The commercial starts out with about 5 seconds of an American Flag waving off of a tubular mount that appears to be mounted to either the spare tire carrier or the third brake light. Basically, it's a black tube that sort of looks like a surf rod mount, but shorter. Sweet accessory... Anyone know where to find it/who makes this?

I have that mount. Its' plastic and kinda cheap.

Not sure where I got it, but will try to find it...

Here is the one that I have:

Not sure if it's the same one as in the commercial, but I am sure that a 3x5 flag would snap it off at any speed fast enough to make the flag fly. I only use an 8"x12" flag on it.

I've been flying a 2x3' flag on a 3/8 4' fiberglass whip from

ATV Flags Sand Rail Flags Off Road Flags

I have it mounted next to my CB antenna on a Teraflex mount.

It works great even at highway speeds.

Obviously they are referring to the ticking Pentastar and not that old 3.8 dog.

Vin,

I really dig the color of your Jeep. Really nice.

Thanks all! Hey Vin, is that the Smittybilt top boot or the Mopar boot in back? How do you like it?

I mounted a flag just behind the soundbar on my 2 door. I used rope and the mount provided with the flag, plus some duct tape. Not classy enough for you?

Mopar. I like it. I had to trim about 1/4" of the plastic tubing to get the tailgate retaining bar to fit, but it works great now. The only problem I'm having with it is that with the Tuffy Security deck, the soft top doesn't get to drop down low enough to put the boot on securely. I may have to run with out it for now unless it stretches with the heat.
