anyone use Yukon Zip Lockers?

found company up in orange county that listed these on craigslist and there site.
can get front and rear gears, master install kits, front and rear air lockers and an arb compressor shipped to my door for $1999.
and the lockers are 650 ea shipped.

Now im not really ready to regear yet but just wanted to put this out there for people. I havent hear of Yukon lockers before but it seemed like a killer deal. Anyone else heard of these guys or used them?

Their auto lockers are what have made them famous.

Ive heard okay things about them, no first hand experience but there are videos on youtube showing lab tests of strength versus the ARB and the ARB is stronger, but the Zip is pretty strong still.

ok I have to chime in here :-)

Yukon Zip, Air actuated lockers are forged and 4340 case and internals. Very strong, so strong they believe in em enough to give a 2000$ collateral damage warranty with each one. SO if somehow you blow one up and it takes out a ring gear and you need new bearings and labor to fix it right, Yukon will cover all that up to 2000$. Who else does that or offers anything even close to that?

That video you see on youtube is of a first design, NON released air locker and they are not made in china as they say. ARB is VERY upset at the whole competitive, more realistically priced air locker option Yukon has came to the market with and is ALWAYS bad mouthing and passing on False info, to sway the consumer. Does ARB make great products, You Bet Cha! Does Yukon make great products, Hell Yeah.

But when you compare a 1100 retail price to a 733$ retail price on equal products that operate exactly the same, feel exactly the same and you can not tell the difference once installed, but the lower cost one has a warranty that is outrageous and the high priced one has a very basic warranty. Its hard to NOT go with the obvious choice.

Not to mention the Yukon Zip (and grizzly auto locker - like a Detroit but stronger and quieter and same warranty) is machined SO MUCH nicer and looks like a better built piece when holding it in your hand.

Just wanted to add some info to the thread.

Zip was my second choice behind Eaton E-Locker. ARB was only briefly on my list. Are they good, yes but they are also way over priced compared to other very good lockers. I got the Eaton E-Locker because the one for the Dana 30 axle is a great system. The one for the D44 is alright but only 2 pin while their D30 is 4 pin. Not sure why they did that. If I was buying for the rear D44, I would get the zip or if getting for both. But if just getting the front, go with the Eaton E-Locker. No air needed.
