are poison spyder crusher flares the best?

Hello - Are Poison Spyder Crusher flares the best?

IMO the front flares are the hardest ones to get "right". All the aftermarket rear fender flares I've seen have looked ok. But the execution of the front flares seems to vary widely and seem much more difficult to get "right."

The "stock" width ones should give me the coverage I need to avoid getting a ticket in WA.

They are priced higher than other aftermarket fenders but the quality and design seem to be rock solid. So would you say that the PSC crusher flares are the ones to get if you have the $$$?

It's more of a balance between looks and features (wheel clearance, width). Go wheeling and checkout what others have. Psc are nice, but there are lots to choose from.

Checkout the genright and metal cloak. I will probably end up with one of those.

I'm really liking the metalcloak flares for form and function. Visually, the XRC are the best to me, but install sounds to be a pain and I wonder if they are as strong as the metalcloak.

Can't say they are the best, everyone has their own taste and also price doesn't dictate whether its the best quality.

I think poison spyder definitely has its own style.

Gives the wrangler a modern badass look.

The smitty xrc flares are simple install. Front are all bolt on an rear are 2 bolts an 5 self tapping screws. But they come no where near close to covering the tires if that's a concern

If you want the strongest, get the EVO corners.

You can definitely stand on the EVO corners.

They are 3/16" steel and are extremely heavy duty. Just make sure you have a lot of clamps to aid in the install.

That is nice corner armor.

But he was talking fenders and I don't think you want to stand on those factory fenders under that EVO armor.

Oh I didn't realize he wanted fenders/armor in one. They do make them, but now it's a custom order and will take at minimum 7 weeks to complete since they are super busy. I have a few parts from them and they are extremely high quality.

You can stand on our flares if you want. Or you can park a Jeep on them

Poison Spyder Crusher Flares are also battle-proven in many rollover and lean-over incidents, with little or no damage other than scratches to the powder coat.

Whatever brand of flare you consider, if you're concerned about strength make sure they come with internal bracing like the Poison Spyder Crusher Flares have. These are separate pieces that brace the flare to the heavier gauge metal of the Jeep's internal tub structure. Most of the cheaper flares on the market just bolt right to the flimsy outer sheetmetal of the Jeep, which of course has the structural integrity of Reynolds Wrap.

Not anywhere near MetalCloak. Strength or anything. Only thing they have remotely in common is the word fender, haha.

I'm assuming OP is talking about the XRC fender armor and not the flares.
