Are these things fun or what!

First Wrangler/Jeep. Been a GM guy forever it seemed. Won't buy from Obama, so needed a change!
Dang this thing is fun! Can't wait for rippin' off the lid on this thing in the spring. I'm guessing this is gonna be anothor vice/addiction!
Been driving a Saturn for many years...they are good cars.
The Jeep seems more animalistic in some respects. A bit untamed of a ride, Industrially designed! Yeah it's rougher than a regular car, but can also do many things the average car can not do!
It does play a bit of havoc in adjusting driving style, handling differences, lack of creature comforts, and yet way more exciting in many ways!
I think it rocks!

Umm......Chrysler borrowed money from Uncle Sam too. I'm glad they did so we can still enjoy Jeeps.

Wranglers do rock. What did you buy it for? The lack of "creature comforts" wears off fast...welcome!

I was die hard GM for the past 13 years. Then the wife wanted a sporty car since the kids are out of car seats. The camaro is only 4 seats. Since we have 3 kids that wouldn't work. Looked at the new charger, fell in love and bought it. Over the past year got rid of the Chevy crew cab for the dodge crew cab then bought my first jeep for a toy a few months ago. Now I'm all about mopar. So far no problems and any tiny ones I've had they've handled to 100% my satisfaction. Congrats man.

Not sure what Saturns you owned, I had a 94, 98, and 03. The 94 and 03 had about 44K on them when traded and were great. The 98 had 120K+ and also was great (barely used a qt. between oil changes and I beat the crap out of it). Maybe I just got lucky.

Congrats on the change to a new, fun ride. I bought my JK to use as my work/play vehicle and no regrets. In my garage is also a Wk2 Hemi Grand Cherokee that I enjoy driving just as much, but for different reasons. The JK with its short wheelbase and quick handling around town with doors/top off (did that in December during our "warm" spell) gives me that visceral feeling of being on the Harley I gave up to get it. Enjoy every moment.
