Are wheel spacers needed with a 2.5" lift???

Would I need to run wheel spacers with the stock Rubicon wheels/tires when doing a 2.5" coil lift? I know I would need them with a 3" lift due to the swaybar end links being too close to the wheel..

Wheel spacers have nothing to do with the height of the lift. They are used to compensate for incorrect back spacing on wheels. If you went with wider tires on your stock rims they would rub unless you installed wheel spacers. Same tires on wheels with the correct backspacing would not rub. It has nothing to do with the lift.

Most people lift so they can get larger tires. It is the tires that cause the need to get spacers not the lift. If you plan on getting 33(questionable with lift) or larger(have to) tires you will have to get either a spacer or new wheels with less backspace.
