ARGH Back zipper has a bad spot

The nice weather is here and I was going to drop the top. Got everything all ready and the zipper on my back window has a bad spot and I can't get it out

Still got the side windows out and the top have back so it's not a total loss.

I wondered how often that happens when I took mine off yesterday . I think every coat I ever owned had a zipper go bad. since its plastic maybe you can heat the bad tooth and flatten it out I would try something . good luck

How often to do clean and lubricate the zippers? I try to do mine at least a couple times a year, or every time I get it super muddy and have to clean the mud out of the zippers.

Never but only use mine during the spring summer months.
Look or Zipper lube, Bestop makes it.
Or you can use wax or soap.
