So I was looking at getting the Aries Front Replacement Bumper, does anyone have one installed on their vehicle? If you do, Pros/Cons/Pics? Does anyone have another bumper that they think is better?
My jeep came with installed from the dealerI like it better than the stock bumpers and it's way easier to clean off the road grime of salt and sand. The bad thing about it for me is now it's crying for a winch and lights.

I must say, I was never familiar with this bumper until the last couple of months, it seems its a lot more common now than it was a year ago. It looks good! Hopefully some more people who own one will post on here.
I love the way mine looks. I decided to blow off the hoop though. I like the lights down on the bumper better. The Jeep does not look like the pic anymore but this was mod #1. Great way to start out the disease.
There are multiple places to mount lights. It does not have a spot for D-rings but can take a winch. I have used the top bars to pull out an old CJ from a soft spot though. (Mainly because he had a bad carb & couldn't keep it going, not any slight to the CJ)
Small fitment issue on the bolt pattern. Be prepared to use a dremel to widen 2 holes but not a big deal. You will need to trim a bracket to relocate the small pump. Great time to do the blinker mod while you're at it.
On a side note, I've been kicking around an idea for the last few months. A sequential blinker setup in the outer openings might look good. The electronics are not rocket science & a mount would not be too difficult to fab up - thinking a 1/2" pvc plate with some amber lenses screwed into recessed holes on the pvc & attach the assembly inside the bumper. The bulbs would be incandescent (no LED's) like a 1057 bulb.
It could potentially draw out the frequency on the back blinker though (from past experience with sequential retrofits)
I just purchased the aluminum front and rear
love the looks and feel but the front installation isn't straight forward be prepared to cut and grind I posted up details in another post
Im waiting on the Winch plate and am trying to source out tow hooks cause they want 90 each Canadian
I got a great deal on the bumpers though way less than I thought it would be and the packaging was great and fast shipping and I had some missing hardware which they shipped out lightning fast
Great Thanks
I couldn't find them with reasonable shipping
I've ordered them now lets hope they show up !!
I've ordered a Warn M8000-s and the winch plate hopefully no more mods for the Winch Plate
Well the Aries bumper has been on for a few months
I also got the winch plate installed with the hooks definitely a great look.
Ive pulled some people out of some spots with the bumper and didn't have any issues whats so ever.
ILL post up some pics of it now
