At a loss

I had my 2014 Jeep Wrangler back to the Dealer to have the brakes checked. Of course they nothing wrong and I am not crazy. About six times I really had to push brake pedal hard to get Jeep to stop. I like to know what would cause this to happen when brake system is in order ?

The booster could have an internal issue intermittently as well as the master cylinder. Sounds more like the booster or vacuum issue.

Ok maybe we should of asked. When you had to "push on the brakes". Was the pedal hard or normal?

What are you doing when this occurs?

How fast are you going?

Is it when the vehicle is cold (sitting over night) or hot (after it warms up)?

Does it happen only once& doesn't happen again till next time you start the jeepie?

Another option is to find a brake specialist shop in your town, run it into them. It might cost you a bit for diagnosis, but then you can go back to the dealer armed with something, perhaps. Or they may come back with the same thing as the dealer, but at least you'll know if the dealer if BSing you or not.

. I was rolling around 35 mph also I was driving a while. It only happened around 5 to six times. Like a delayed reaction when brakes applied.

My wife came in from a run to the store the other night (white as a ghost). She was driving about 50 MPH down the last piece of two lane before our neighborhood crossed through a major intersection only to find a Garbage truck backing into its overnight yard. She locked up (I thought a JKU had anti locks) all four 12.5 Duratrac's leaving rubber on the road. If she had been driving your Jeep I can't think about it too much..... I don't know what you need to get it resolved but I absolutely would. Let us know what happens. and above all be careful.

brake vacuum loss

I have a 2013 Wrangler. Same thing happen to me. Felt like the power brake booster wasn't working, almost like the older cars that didn't have power brakes. Only happened on first start up, and after car sat. The brakes came back after running about 30 seconds. Dealer replaced the brake booster. Just happen again yesterday, new booster lasted about 1 month. Back at the dealer today..

If the pedal is hard when pushing, it's most likely a booster or vacuum issue. Seems to be an intermittent issue so I'm leaning towards the booster.

If it's soft/spongy, then it's a hydraulic issue. You have air in the system or brake lines are internally coming apart or damage.

But I would think it'll happen constantly instead of intermittent.
