Talking Audio Install

While saving for my lift/tires/regear, I went ahead and installed my audio gear. It's not the final by any means, but a few things to mention. The Install consists of Pioneer Avh-5200BT, 2x 12" Infinity Kappa's, and a Lanzar 2000 watt amp. Not what I want in the end, as that will be 100% JL(not the head unit because i use only pioneer there), but this is what I had. Now, the Issue that took some time to resolve. The head unit, and keeping the steering wheel controls. This was a nightmare, that if I would have done this myself, I may not have my jeep anymore(Thanks to my new friends at Auto Image). Then you should know that the stock mic, can't be used. And using the stock satellite antenna can actually come unplugged. But, moving past what is considered "good" audio gear, I'm thumping right now with or without the top. Vibration is minimal, and since I don't need the backseat regularly, it can stay out. I used some tow straps, using the back seat brackets and hitch points, to keep the box from sliding. But, that's what I did today.

How much room did that leave you in the back? Looks like it chews up a lot of room.

The PAC-SWI makes the steering wheel connection simple. Probably what the installers used. I did for mine and it is plug and play with the harness.

I was wondering how a pop up Pioneer would look in the Jeep dash. Pretty neat looking when up and probably hides well when retracted. I am going to guess that the 2 x 12" directly behind you makes a fun experience.

Admittily, it takes up more room then it needs, but I don't use the back for anything.

Yeah, its supposed to, but its not the case. It needs to be manually programmed, and the cats need to be reset with the interface. The flip up is nice, since it hides better. But security and jeep don't go together. Next install is a 2 way viper alam with prox. Sensors.
