Auto Shifter and Transfer Case Knob Removal

Got an early Xmas present of Drake shifter knobs for my Jeep - how does one remove the factory auto trans and transfer case shifter knobs on a '13 (assuming anything is different versus older units)?

Figure I better know for sure so I don't wreck anything.....

Yeah, but did you actually read it? Open the thread and go to post #19.

2011's got the interior upgrade, so it would be the same as your '13.

Agreed, but his concern was the new trans being different. Had he actually read the thread, he would have discovered that post #19 specifically deals with the new trans. Some people not only want you to give them the food, but to actually feed them as well.

The search function works very well, that's how I found what he was looking for.

I used the search thread, found said thread (among others), and read it entirely. Shame on me for not noticing the small heading on top of post #19, I was busy reading the posts themselves.

Thanks for feeding me. Merry Christmas to you as well!

I also received the Drake auto shifter knob for Christmas and after searching here...I now know how to remove the OEM. Did you install the Drake's yet? What the heck holds the Drake on? Does it just "press" into place?
