autoanything bullcrap

Does this sound right to you? I recently bought a full set of coverking seat covers from autoanything. The stitching has started coming loose on the drivers seat so I contacted them. They needed some pic's,so I sent them some and they told me it looks like a replacement is in order but I'll need to send them the cover to look at closer. I have no problem with that but what I don't think is right is that I get stuck with all the shipping cost involved. I had the seat cover installed for about 2 months and about 300 miles. I personally will not deal with them again. When I talked to the guy I told him that I would like to send back the entire order and be refunded, his reply was can't do that.

I recently bought Coverking from another source for my Nissan Pathfinder and have the same issue...seam separations on the drivers seat. Very disappointing that this happened within a couple months.

Since it is under warranty for one year, I need to return it for repair or replacement. I did send pictures asking if they could just send a replacement but no, they need it back. I am dealing directly with Coverking.

Ask to speak to a manager. I've had this happen before. You shouldn't have to pay to return a defective product.

I've had luck in the past getting a return label sent to me. One company even said "just keep it and we'll refund your purchase".

This is the way it should have been delt with. The pictures are proof enough. It's not like these are cheap seat covers.

Yea, raise a little more s#!t.
Call back and tell schmuck that answers to put his supervisor on the phone.
If that doesn't work then they should have a customer service phone or email number. Remind them of the power of social media in just one mans hand.
I've bought a lot of merchandise from Autoanything it would be unfortunate that they don't try to take care of their customers.

A lot of times, a company will need the items back to fully figure out why something went wrong....most times, the said company does not manufacture the items themselves (contracted out to specialty manufacturer....or china), so they need to have the items to keep the manufacturer honest.

That said....they should have offered you free return shipping even if it was 60 days after the purchase.

I thought Coverking had a good reputation???

You might do search I thought I read about a similar problem with CoverKings from a different vendor.

Call your credit card company and see if you can put the charge in dispute, might have been to long of time but worth the call. It really gets action by most vendors.
