Running a 1,500 mile round trip to Virginia, Then 2 weeks later, a 560 mile trip with a u-haul trailer to Louisiana, then 2 days later, 420 miles without trailer to Boerne Texas, and finally 1 week later, 965 miles back home. So in July I will have somewhere in the neighborhood of 3,500 miles worth of long driving. Will definately be testing it out.

Thats the one I have.

Very easy to install. Cheap insurance for a happy transmission.

I installed my JCWhitney 18,500GVW cooler, about a year ago and I think it might be B&M, but I don't know what the GVW rating is on the B&M 70268

Either one is like a godsend on this xmission

I've towed my trailer over the Sierras and off-road in 4lo/4hi and that temp never goes back into the xmission over 130 degrees

I haven't seen it "HOT", over 190 °

ya gotta get the cooler

The B&M 70268 is rated at 13000.

JIMBOX--do you ever use overdrive while towing, & do you have a superchips flaspaq?

Just wondering.

Thanks man.

Now there's not much level freeway, here in Nevada--going back (I80) to the Sierras (Truckee), I have used it going down I95 to Carson city, but

With these 33.6 in Hankooks on. there ain't much use for OD unless you've got a long pretty flat freeway

So far, it's not worth the cost to regear, so it's OK

I don't have any computer modules, but I have ordered the Procal module, for tire size/TPMS/idle speed control

I don't really have that much freeway travel to worry about and, of course, the JK is not a DD

Good luck

How are you getting tranny temp readings?
Also, someone mentioned that the dealer will install a dummy light for free, is that accurate?

There is a TBS--RECALL J30, that Flash's your ECM to red icon notify you of high temp in the xmission and then shuts down engine to "limp" mode--you have NO CONTROL--

I haven't had it done, but quite a few have, I think you may have to have received the letter from Chrysler-to have this dione---FREE

Here's mine, with the aux cooler and these, I'm not having J30 performed on mine !!!my temps stay well below 190°

Good luck

Cool. if one is for tranny temp, what's the other reading?
I think I might have to find a different mounting area though.

The one on the right, is transmission in "cool" and I mounted them there, because I'm 6'4" ++and I see more of the "Rockhard" dash bar, than the gauges !!

The "A" pillar, isn't usable __
