Install side steps and use them. Other than that you're out of luck. My buddy tried to bypass the side step on mine and the result was lets just say crushing.

I've never seen someone turn 7 shades of purple before.

Honestly, you need to take a Yoga class to learn how to manipulate and contort your body in order to get into the back seat. That's why I took mine out.

When the grandkids get old enough to head out with me I will put it back in but they will be young enough and small enough to get in and out easier.

There isn't a 2-door made that isn't a PIA to get in and out of the back seat. JK is nothing new on that front.

I've always seen the jeep wrangler as a suv for the physically active. For those that like to repel or go kayaking where no man has gone before.

While I have never had to climb into the backseat of a jeep, I would just figure it would help if you were in shape.

My buddy uses his backseat for his 1 year old.

David: I had an 05 TJ that had twice the room to get in the back seat compared to a JK. This is one of the main reasons my JK is a 4 door. Pretty #### poor engineering. (IMHO)

Haha Is my tj bigger? lol Seat folds forward and there is enough room to jump in there when robbing a bank.

Step on the tire and go through the window.. OR get some crappy tube steps which help little.. OR.. otherwise, no.

Seriously, the best I've been able to figure out on a two door 07, is to push the passenger seat forward using the special lever as described in the owner's manual and make your first step INTO the back seat with your RIGHT FOOT.

To exit the rear seat, just reverse and make your first step OUT with the LEFT FOOT.

Does anyone have any constructive comments on how to easily hold the front seat passenger seat/shoulder harness out of the way while entering/exiting the rear seat?

Step through it and not over it. I pull the seatbelt over the corner of the the passenger seat and go through. I tried stepping over it once to get out and my foot got tangled in it which was almost nasty.

unless your jeep is too tall(which it should be) to step directly into the rear
