back seat head rest

Can someone help me figure out how the stock back seat head rests come off on a 2013? I like when the seat folded down for a clear view but when up the rests are in the way. I tried to just fold them back but the rests are spring loaded.
TIA, BobL

There's a thread on here about removing the spring off of the headrest, which you can do without disassembling the seat and removing the headrest. I did this on mine because it was in the way of the car seat for my son, and I was holding it down with bungee straps. Once you do the spring mod, the headrest works like this. Folding the seat down will still release the headrest, and fold it up against the seat as you fold it down. Once you put the seat back up the head rest will remain folded down out of the way. If you want it up for any reason, you can just pull it up and lock it into place like it did before when spring loaded. One of the best mods I did to mine because I can still have the headrests when people ride in the back, but not have to ghetto tie them down to get our car seat in there.

There's a secondary button on the opposite post. Feel around that post with your finger and you'll feel a flush-mount button that will release the headrest.
