Starwood Jeep

Back to the Jeep community...

Always hated getting rid of my Rubicon and day dreamed of the day I'd have another Jeep. Now the day is almost here as I pulled the trigger on a custom build from Starwood a couple weeks ago. My delivery is scheduled for next week and needless to say I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve.

Yes, it was definitely pricier than if I did it myself or spent the time getting this done independently. But I paid for turnkey and convenience since I don't have the patience or time to mess with my own build out.

Regardless, I'll post pics of the Jeep when it's here.

Was hoping to have it before this weekend but odds have dropped considerably.

The daystar rocker switches were delayed on the install b/c needing additional wiring. So now the hope is that gets done today, QA today/tomorrow, and delivered early next week.

In the meantime, here it is in the shop waiting on the rockers...

The color is deceptive/unique. It looks black but in certain light/up close it is a very dark blue.

That, my friend, is a badass rig. You could start a forest fire with those lights.

I hope you plan to get it dirty, and not just drive it up and down Congress Av, and watch the bats.

Congratulations.

Thank you! I'm definitely excited now.

I have a car for Congress Ave...the Jeep is for dirt/sand. First trip is planned for PINS and the beach.

Haha...I was born there, east of 35. I have the right.

It's 50 degrees here now, generously, and I'm dying for Barton Springs weather.

That's like asking an office worker how the Burj Khalifa was built (no offense, hookem––you're a fellow Texan and I would never impugn you). The Jeep was built by Starwood Motors. See here...

Are you looking for all the parts used? If so, most of those are listed under my Jeep garage in my profile.

Now it feels like xmas eve and I got to stay up late to open a toy.

Too bad a four letter word (work) gets in my way of actually playing with it.
