Of course this all depends on whether you have 17" wheels or bigger. On a 15" wheel you need to stay under 4" so the wheel doesn't rub the caliper with 3.75" as common and 16" not all 4.5" bs will fit for the same reason. Almost all 4.25" or less will though.

For 17" wheel, offset is a better term to use. 0 offset will work on all 17, 18, 20, or larger wheels no matter what the width. Using bs may not be the best measurement because same bs on different width will completely change the stance of the Jeep. Offset is always the same because it measures from center so wheel width doesn't effect the results while bs measures from the back of the wheel and is effected by wheel width

Here's a good start

15" wheel need at least 3.75" bs so not to rub caliper no matter how wide the wheel (some 4" will work but very few)

16" wide wheels need at least 4.25" bs for the same reason as above (some 4.5"bs will work but not all)

That applies to alloy and some steel but there can be exceptions. Most steel 15" will not fit but there are some exceptions.

17" and larger wheel need the following for 315 mm or 12.5" tires

7.5" wide wheels need 4.25 bs
8" wide wheels need 4.5" bs
8.5" wheel need at least 4.75 bs
9" wide wheels need 5" bs
9.5" needs 5.25" bs
10" need 5.5" bs
10.5 need 5.75" bs
11" Not recommended needs 6" bs.
Very good explaination

If you're talking about the 17" Sport wheels, then yes, they're actually the exact same wheel as the Rubicon wheel, just with a different finish.

Same is true of the fancy black wheels you see on the COD and Arctic editions, and the grey wheels you see on the Mountain, Mojave, etc. editions. All the same 17" wheel, just different finishes.

Just making sure they are the same from 2010 to 2012...
But I appreciate the backspace/offset lesson.

I'm buying used 2010 wheels / tires from a rubicon..
Hoping that they will bolt directly to my 2012 Sport and have same offset/backspace

Thanks

They'll bolt fine and have the same TPMS (the '08 and '09 systems are different)
