Backup camera and rear view mirror question

I installed backup camera and video display integrated with a rear view mirror, i managed to wire the camera with the reverse light wire and the mirror gets the power direct from the battery..

My question: where i should tap in so the mirror can switch off as soon as I switch my jeep and as soon as i put reverse gear (i have auto)

The mirror has 2 video input- i am going to buy another camera and hock it under the jeep for off-road- any suggestion where to mound the 2nd camera?

the radio harness has a switched ignition source and reverse trigger (if it's auto). If not, the cig lighter in the dash is also switched and you can pickup the reverse light wire from the passenger side footwell. I'm pretty sure it's white with a tan or green stripe. I wrote it down somewhere (well over a year ago now).

Agreed...I used the cig lighter to power my switched mirror lead. Thought about the radio but some say that can affect the canbus. The cig lighter is a safe bet.
