Why wouldn't it? Doesn't the camera get its 12V power off the reverse lights that come on when shifted into reverse, whether its a manual or auto?

Anyone find a good price to purchase the Jeep Camander camera (part #82211293)? Best price I found so far is $157 via mopar parts online.

Any idea where the 15 pin connector can be purchased so it can be pinned with the 3 wires?

So can anyone confirm if the commander camera comes with everything needed to plug into the 730? After that all I need is a flash?
Thanks

I'm leaning towards a license plate frame camera. Anyone else go that route?

When u was researching my camera I looked at the license plate option. The tech talked me out of it. I wish I could remember why! Sorry. I have mine installed at the bumper by trailer hitch. Been almost a year and all good!

I use my camera to line up the hitch ball with my trailer. If the camera is license plate mounted it defeats that purpose. Being off center would probably give a false sense of security for things that might be behind you.

Mine is a 730 as well. Plug and play after the dealer codes the radio.

I called my dealer today and the guy gave me some BS about it killing my uConnect if I install this Commander camera and have them do the flash.

Didn't feel like arguing with another Numnuts in the service department, so my search continues for a dealer in NJ that will flash my 730n.

Does anyone know if the commander cam will work with the 430 rbz? I'd rather not spend the money for the unlocking harness when all I really want is the camera function.
