I hadn't seen a 2016 thread for this. Registration started today and we were lucky enough to be one of the 105 to sign up for the night trail package. Anyone else going this year? This will be our first.
Ya i'm planning on going this year since last year i missed it with vacation. Then again i only have a 20 minute drive there haha. Haven't figured out what all I'll be doing there yet, was checking out the details of it last night.
Only 20 minutes! That would be hard to miss then! We're coming up from SC for our first one. Debated taking mine or the husbands JK but looks like mine Since it's our first we decided to go all out for that night Ops package. Anything you recommend there not to miss?
Signed up for show and shine and invasion. Night ops would be cool but not on Thursday night plus the cost was a little high unless you volunteered and got the free things and the reduced night ops which was 120
I signed up today. First time going for me. I also signed up for the Moraine Trail ride, along with the on site trails/playground. As I'm still running my stock tires and no lift other than a coil swap, I'm planning on keeping things pretty low key.
It'll be my first too. It looks like it's very much for all size Jeeps. We went all out for the night Ops since it's our fist figured go big. That Moraine trail looks awesome tho. Hope to see you there!!! We'll be in the Mango tango with FL endless summer surf tag.
Good deal! We also signed up for the Glacial tour as well as the Historic Travels tour. We'll be be in Downtown Butler Friday night for the Invasion also.
Awesome! yeah I wasn't sure what you actually can have time to fit in there. I'd love to do it all but with that many people didn't want to pay for more than what we'd actually have time to do!
I've been the last 2 years. I'm debating on if I go out Friday and come home Saturday or just make it a day trip and go Sunday. It's only about 2 hours from me.
We're about 3 hours away over in Ohio. We'll leave real early Friday morning and stay Friday and Saturday nights. We got a hotel about 35 min away. Closest I could find so I could cash in some points.
I manage a hotel 13 minutes from the Festival. I don't want to break any rules on my second post, but I double checked all the rules and I don't think it breaks any.
I set up a discount code for the Jeep festival. You can use this link to book at 15% off the days of the festival. We always have a bunch of Jeeps in the parking lot that weekend.
Also registered got in on the night ride Thursday first time they offered it this will be my fourth time going and planning on being there through the weekend really looking forward to it.... It's a great time... I've done all the tours my favorite was the History tour.. Also from Pittsburgh so I'm kinda spoiled because its so close...
So question for those of you who've been before...do they provide air out there for when you're returning from off roading or are thousands of jeeps going to be lined up at every local gas station for air? Just curious if Onboard air needs to move to the top of the "things to do" endless list!
I was trying to hold off until just after the festival when I do Gears and Lockers. Lol. Good to know most the trails don't really require airing down. I'm so used to having to that I hadn't even considered it not being necessary. Thanks for the info! We're getting close to that time!
Going to bring this one back as the date is approaching.
I think we are heading up on Saturday. Just going to watch some events and see what all is there. Anyone who has been there have an expected wait time to get in if we get in the area at about 8:30?
