barricade products

Has anyone heard of or used barricade bumpers products or aftermarket tops?

We just picked up Barricade bumpers and tops. I really wanted to test them out, so we threw them on our own Jeeps and hit the trail. The stuff fits nicely, is built with quality components and is priced right for someone like me who seems to be constantly saving up for a taller lift!

I'm here to help, so hit me up if you have any questions!

The barricade front bumper for 2013 jk is $370 correct? Or is there any other discounts or bumpers that are comparably priced?

Correct! We absolutely offer a WF forums discount for our friends over here. Shoot me a PM and I'll hook you up with the code. That should bring the cost down another $20 bucks or so!

i just checked out your website, saw that the bumper says it has "OE size fog light housings"... do the factory fogs fit without any other modifications? direct bolt on?

This bumper looks like what I've been searching for. Similar to Body Armor's, but has ability to re-use the factory fog lights! Is it strictly bolt on without any mods to a 2014 JKUR? How much does this bumper weigh?

I noticed your photos show winch bolt hole measurements are 5 x 10 1/2 inches. Is that correct? Most winches seem to be 4 1/2 x 10 inch. Hate the thought of drilling holes in a new bumper.

I'm glad you like the bumper. We are working on getting more in stock and keeping them in stock but they've been so popular it's tough to do!

I recently started in this roll so I wasn't answering PM's when Freedomrider was asking about the discount. I can say that I answer all PM's during the week in 24 hrs now that I'm here! All of our friends on WranglerForum are entitled to the 6% discount as long as they have 25 posts, and I'll do everything I can to make sure everyone gets it.

Please shoot me a PM if you have any questions or concerns at all!

I had it on order for a month. When I called to check on it they said it was on back order until after the new year. Unfortunately, I canceled my order and went another direction.

I can certainly appreciate that. We are working hard to make sure we get everything back in stock and keep it in stock from now on. This isn't easy to do with such a popular product but we'll get it hammered out ASAP.

What bumper did you go with?

I went with the LOD mid width Armor Lite w/bull bar bumper... I'm waiting for it to get here this week hopefully... It has great reviews and a good look... Not as an attractive price tag as the Barricade though!
Thanks Ryan! I will keep you guys at ET in mind for future upgrades...

No problem!

I'm glad you found a suitable alternative, even if it did run you a few more dollars. Make sure you post up some pictures once you get it installed!

As always, you can PM if you have any questions about anything on the site.

I ordered a barricade rock crawler front and rear bumper from extreme terrain. Installing the rear I got irritated because of how off all the symmetry of it is. After the install, with the tire carrier on, you don't notice all of the misalignments. The front bumper I ordered 2 or 3 months ago and it just now shipped(no fault of E.T.) so I can't comment on it. For the price of a rear I got two bumpers and don't plan on doing enough offroading to bang them around. So all in all I would do it again.

Curious how the front bumper install went and how you like it? I'm leaning towards the Barricade front but know they're out of stock for a while.

Thanks!

can the Barricade Front Skid Plate - Textured Black (07-10 Wrangler JK) be installed on a 2013 JKU sahara with a rampage recovery front bumper?

If not, can you make a recommendation on a front skid plate that will protect my tie rod, track bar, etc...?

Sorry, just saw this parkerfly. The front looked like it went through much better quality control. I've been happy with it, especially for the price. The paint still isn't even and it rusts in the pits of the welds but I'll just plastidip over them like I did the rear and you'll never see em.

My bumper arrived today, order was placed last Thursday. I think it is a well made bumper that looks good. the only fault I could find was the bottom bolt tabs on mine were bent upward and had to be straightened to be able to fit on the vehicle frame, I also had to do some filing as the holes were not lined up. the sway bar protector had to be trimmed a little so the bumper could evenly bolt down to the frame. A little work to make a perfect fit but, I am extremely happy. Thanks Ryan for the discount code too!! Oops, just realized I posted in the JK forum.
