HI just installed a set of barricade rock sliders on jku. I noticed that the passenger side sits with in about 1/2 in of hitting rubi rails but driver has more than an inch or so. My question is those with jku and same slider with oem rails do your all fit same? This is my 2nd set semt to me after the first set literally made contact with oem rails. Thanks for the feedback
I have similar measurements as you, only opposite sides.(wanna trade? hehe) Life is too short to worry about it.
I'm more than pleased with my sliders and would buy them again in a heartbeat.
I think mine fit about the same but my JKU is an 08 and I know the previous owner abused it, the right side rock rail is bent at the front so I assumed it was just my Jeep and not the Barricade Rock slider.
I'm with CoalCracker. I love mine, I've bounced them off rocks and stuff that would have done some damage to the tub and they've held strong.
I just installed mine this past weekend and the driver side one has the slightest rattle when I step on it getting in and out, but the bolts can't be tightened anymore. Any ideas why it sounds like that?
Did you try removing the bolts and try installing them again. I thought I was done tightening mine and when I backed the bolts out because i forgot locktite, I realized that I was almost cross threading one of them.
I had the same creaking issue. I cut a piece of a radiator tube and placed it where it was rubbing (rear drivers side, like all the others).
Now it's perfect..... thanks to this forum. It was easy to troubleshoot.
