Question Battery goes dead when towing behind mh..

Other than disconnecting the negative battery cable on my 2007 JK to keep my battery from going dead after two to 3 hours of towing behine my Motorhome, have any of you found a better way to keep the battery alive without disconnecting the (-) battery cable??? Paul

Its not the towing thats killing your battery unless your using it to power something. You need a new battery my friend. But yes, disconnecting will preserve if something is drawing on it.

Should be no reason to disconnect the Jeep battery. Plus, some aux. braking systems need power to work. Just run a good heavy gauge wire from the MH battery to the 7-way plug.
