battery tie down

So i am going to the badlands in the next 2 months and as i read the site it says you need a battery tiedown. Is the plate holding it down good enough or do i need to go out and buy one and if so what is a good cheap one to buy. Also anything else i might need to get into the badlands??

Thanks,
MIller

How about a link to that site so that us curious folks about your trip can check it out. Sorry, can't help you about the battery tiedown but any trip that requires one surely has sparked my interest. I'll be keeping my eye on this thread to see what is about.

I too would like to see some pics of where your headed that you're thinking of better strapping down the batt. But I haven't heard of this being an issue.

DeepSea got it right...awesome. I haven't checked that aspect of jeepin' out yet as I am still really busy with my son in scouting but can see some of that in my future. Thanks for the link.
