Time for a battery for my 2014 JKU.

Given the holiday weekend, most convienent appears to be from Napa. Legend, Premium AGM. 75 month warranty. 760 CCA. $198.00.

Looked at some other options, but don't really have time to order or wait for shipping.

The Autozone guy told me to stay away from their platinum batteries.

Sooo. Unless there is a go to, off the shelf suggestion (wal-Mart, Costco, ??) that is open on Memorial Day, looks like I'll be visiting Napa first thing Tuesday.

I replaced my 2012 battery with a Walmart EverStart after about two years. Came highly recommended and lasted 4 years when I traded it in last week. Never had an issue with it and it was relatively fAirly priced if I remember. Also was off the shelf and installed free.

Only 3 years? I have an Interstate battery in my 1987 Silverado that's going on 15 years. The Wally Everstart one in my 1987 Suzuki Samurai is 12. I never had a "car" battery last me less than 10 years, even living in the northeast with seasonal climate changes. But I deal with VRLA batteries for a living. Intelligent float chargers (not trickle chargers) are key to battery longevity. I have one on each of my vehicles and boats. If you have multiple vehicles and want to cheap out, but a good floater such as a Schumacher, bring it up to equalization, then put a cheapo trickle charger on it to maintain.

Buy an odyssey. They are pricey, but it will be the last battery you ever buy.
