BDS Suspension Comfort

Hey guys, I have a JK 4 door Sahara. I am planning on installing a BDS 3" suspension kit because I can't stand anymore the Jeep's rigid ride. Still, I sometimes wonder if this could be an alternative of achieving a better, more comfortable ride. That is of course, discarding the obvious, the improvement in off-road courses. Any kind of information helps, I am planning on installing this Saturday and I wan't to be sure it will have a positive effect on the ride's comfort before purchasing the suspension. Thanks!

My plans are installing the BDS Suspension first. Ride with the stocks for a while until the tires finally wear out. And then install 17" American Expedition Vehicles black wheels with 33" Dick Cepek mud tires. I would do it all at the same time if it weren't too expensive. Will I have a more comfortable ride? Please help!

Ride comes down to-
4 door/2 door
Loaded down/lightweight
Shocks
Tire psi/load range
Complete kit or not
But mostly personal preference.

Good...answer
As for the lift itself...I have not driven a Bds lifted jeep that rode well when put against other lifts. Aev, Ome, teraflex, rubicon express, currie, and many others have better ride quality and street manners...skyjacker is apples to apples with Bds on ride, rough country was the worst. And to beat the peanut gallery to the punch, I have driven all of these.

I have the exact lift but on a 2 door. I didn't have my Jeep long before I put the lift on, but I have driven many Jeeps. It does ride better than stock, but do not expect a drastic improvement. You will lose the nose dive when breaking and a little less body roll. I drove trucks before Jeeps and this lift made the ride feel a bit more "truck like" to me. I do like the lift but I have been contemplating an upgrade to no fault of the BDS lift itself I just think I want to move to RK or Teraflex. I will say this though, your Jeep will look rather strange with a 3" lift on stock tires. I ran 33s at first and it bugged me so I moved to 35s... Just another thing to think about.

I just installed the 3in BDS lift. It's hard to say if it is better than stock, if you get the Fox shock upgrade the ride would be better. I can tell you it is better than my F550 truck. This is my 3rd BDS kit and have never had any problems

Iirc the BDS shocks are tuned similar to TF's and ride better than a off the shelf fox shock.
