bedlineing front and rear bumper

I'm looking to paint my front and rear bumper with an aggressive texture similar to an off-road bumper to give it "looks" but for the main purpose to prevent those horrible stains on the bumper . I also have in mind to do a stubby kit ? Any helpful cheap mods or ideas would be great ... Thanks in advance !

I suppose you could just sand them a little and paint with rustoleum bedliner spray can.
They are about $7-8 a can from walmart.
I would imagine 3 cans would be plenty.

Take a rag damp with laquer thinner, wipe bumper working fast, the thinner will cut thru and treatments u have applied. Less is better with thinner

Would the nicks be from the roll? But I would sand em down first, IMO.

heh no, I just picked these up over the weekend to install with my new ace sliders. think I might just hit the nicked spot with some rust reformer, really too lasy to sand the whole rail down. really need a garage with some real tools to work on my jeep, a power sander would make this a non issue
