Bedlining grill

I've sanded the grill and am just sitting here sipping a tasty beverage and wondering if I should prime it first or just go ahead with the bedliner?

I'm gonna be doing mine sometime in the near future. If you have the primer, use it, not gonna hurt anything

I primed mine while it was off. Didn't want to have to do it twice. Always better to be safe then sorry.
