I finally completed the mods to my JK, whatcha think? If anyone is looking to get 35's bolted on. Be prepared to lose gas mileage and power!!! I went from 21.7-22.0 mpg to 16.1, also 6 gear is no use.
Yep speedometer was calibrated. I didn't think it would take that big of a hit myself. I expect some, but now I feel like I'm driving a v8 lol. I'm definitely gonna have the gears upgraded to 4.10 from 3.21
Lol go big or go home right?! I put a 2.5" rubicon express lift. It's a little stiff, but that's expected. I had it installed Monday. I have 3.21 gears now, I will upgrade to 4.10. It's not a must, I live here in houston it's fairly flat. But every overpass I have to down shift.
I see. My cousin got the same lift and i got 2.5" teraflex and mine came up higher in the front by 1 inch at least. His looks exactly like yours(meaning space). If you are going to put steel bumper and winch, you may want to add front spacers.
I didn't see an aftermarket option of upgrading to 4:10. The lowest gear ratio i see is 4:56. With steel bumpers and winch i am debating 4:56 vs 4:88. Also there is 5% that i might move to 37 in 2-3 years from now. Never say never.
