Believe it...or NOT!

What's the whackiest thing that ever happened to you in your JK? True story: A few weeks ago I drove my Jeep to work everyday completely topless. One day I'm walking to my JK after work, and right when I'm about to press the key fob to open the door I hear: "Ooooooooooh! IS That yours! When did you get it? Let me drive it!!"

I already knew who it was so I didn't bother to turn around to say anything. Next thing I know my co-worker SNATCHES my keys out of my hand and jumps up in my JEEP! She said: "OOOOOH I LOVE THIS!!! CAN I DRIVE IT???"

She kept whining so, I let her drive around in a circle in the parking lot--my boss is watching from the office building--laughing. As she's driving around in a circle in the middle of the parking lot I scream: "If you hit a pole I'm going to rip the driver's side door off your SUV!!" She pulled over, parked the JK as she giggled and jumped in her SUV.

I had some old guy pull out of a side street and run into the side of me. Linexd nerfbars slid over his fender followed by the rear 35" duratrac. All it did to the Jeep was leave his white paint on my bar. Said he didn't see me cause he was watching the firetrucks ................ There were no firetrucks, then he drove off!

I ride my JK Unlimited with no doors and several times I get amazed looks and asked "what happened to your doors?" I usually respond that I couldn't afford the doors when I bought the Jeep and I'm hoping to save enough by winter to buy them. Usually get dazed and befuddled looks as I drive off.

Watched the weather forcast, no rain, folded the top down, took off the doors. Went to meet my wife and her coworker for lunch. Ended up at buffalo wild wings. Chowing down and look outside it's flippin raining cats and dogs. Drop my wing on my lap, run out to throw the top up. Another guy in his yj was doing the same. helped him, he helped me and away we went. wife and coworker were soaked, wet butts and all!

i really haven't had anything interesting happen, but this is kind of funny: my jeep was parked naked next to an SUV at the grocery store. when the owner of the SUV went to put his son in the car seat, i hear the kid say, "daddy, where are her doors?" the dad replied, "you can take the doors off of a jeep and drive it around." the little boy paused for a moment in deep thought, he then smiled really big and enthusiastically said, "daddy, can we take the doors off our car?" the guy laughed and i both chuckled, i waved at them and told them to have a nice day .

I envy when it seems everyone could remove doors and drive within city limits... ILLEGAL here in Australia... Could only go doorless off road!

It's actually true. My co-worker grew up with my sisters and went to high school with them, so she treats me like I'm her little brother. Kind of a pain in that ass at times on the job but it's tolerable.

Doorless is prohibited in OZ !?!?!?!?

Thats the fisr and only thing I've eve heard that would make me hesitate to move there.

Just a hesitation, though......too much other amazing stuff.
