Best 2009 jk unlimited rubicon lift kits

Hey, I was just wondering what the best lift kit would be for my stock 09 unlimited jk rubicon. I am just looking for a small lift like 2" to 4". Can anyone point me in the right direction, like for best durability, and most reliable?

this kit
Premium Jeep Wrangler JK 3.5 Inch Lift Kit

with this upgrade
JK Front Long Arm Upgrade Kit

call them to see what deal they would work out because you dont need the front arms of the first kit with the upgrade

I hear very good things about BDS. I also hear that they don't squeak after a while since they have grease able fittings and bushings like some other lifts. Personally I hate squeaks and rattles and seem to have a finely tuned ear for them so this is an important factor for me. Another plus is lifetime warranty with BDS.

I also hear that adding the Synergy high steer drag link, tie rod adapter and track bar kit is essential for true elimination of steering and death wobble issues. Not costly based on a $400 I stalled price quote I got. I've seen this thing installed on a Jeep and it is meaty and substantial.

The three I would look at is the Rock Krawler, Synergy Suspension, and TeraFlex. They all three are great platforms to run on the JK. The offer a great starting point that offers great rides both on and off road. Each can be upgraded as you see fit.

Please let me know if you need any more help. We work close with all three of these companies and can help get you setup!

Rock Krawler has my vote.. I've been through the Tera Flex 2.5 BB lift, RK 3.5" mid-arm pro alum lift, now 3.5" long arm 3 link front/rear pro alum lift.

Love it, I've even been in a wreck with my entire front end. The drag link was the only thing that survived and it was solid steel..RK warrantied everything for free. I couldn't be happier. Lifetime warranty is hard to beat.

I am assuming you are just looking for a basic lift without too many bells and whistles since you are sitting on stock?

If this is just for occasional off roading you might want to look at the TeraFlex 2.5 lift but I don't know your intentions. I am a big fan of the coil and shock lift, but you could go with the budget boost too. You will also need to get spacers for your stock wheels. Once you start getting higher with the lift, the price goes up, and the complexity of what you need goes up.

Take a look at the sticky on the JK forum - lift kit reviews.

There is a lot of good advice here. I would like to add one thing. The TF kits will need spacers on the stock wheels. The other kits you are good to go without them...
