A Moosehead would look better up there. Congrats on getting adverts off your Jeep. First thing I did was toss the dealer license plate holders.

I suppose I's lucky because all of our jeeps have never had any dealership logos on them.

I replaced the dealer's license plate frame with a customized one.
Speaking of website, the frame also blocks the dumb "dmv.ca.gov" now on every California license plates.
I can't think of any reason they need to put a website on the license plate, expecting us to go to the website on smartphone while driving?
Any other States did the same stupid thing?

Lots of states have been adding their website to the plate. I can't name them now, but I have noticed them when driving the highways here. We see a lot of out of state traffic between the Air Force base, Army reserves, and truck traffic.

I left the Dealer logo on mine because of the AWESOME buying experience I had from them. I've never had a good experience buying a new vehicle, but these guys changed that, so I felt that I should promote them. I even took my salesman's cards to work to distribute. By the way, if you are in upstate NY, the dealer is Genesee Valley Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Avon. They don't work on commission, so this is why I was able to get such a great price on my 2013!

I left the Logo on for 1.5 years to give the dealer free advertising. I was also just too lazy to get to it.

The beer I get to much more often than that.

lol

Mine had the dealer name, etc in the same spot when I took it home... I promptly 'modified' it into nothing more than a little Jeep logo with the word 'Hi' next to it

[edit] found a pic (from Christmas-time, obviously):

I'll advertise for any dealership that pays me. LOL I removed their sticker before I drove it off the lot.

Our Sahara was delivered with just a cardboard sign in the license plate holder that said "Baxter", for Baxter Chrysler Jeep in Omaha, NE. Fantastic dealership BTW! Gave the sign to a friend, because his dog is named Baxter.

As a side note, we decided to meet up with the two semi-retired fellas that delivered our Jeep down to us, four hundred miles from Omaha, at a local winery. We literally signed all of the paperwork on top of stacked cases of Stone Hill Wine. That's a pretty fun way to start things off, and celebrate the special day.

7 brand new cars purchased so far and none of them left the dealer's lot with either a sticker or plate frames. I figure I'm willing to advertise the manufacturer but why should I advertise for the middle man? It's not like I have a Sears sticker on my fridge!
