Trying to decide between the following, and since the SO color is fairly new there are hardly any pics for me to compare!
In order of how I'm leaning:
1. Black Pintler w/ Yellow Center Caps (Curious to see how it looks with SO). I think the yellow center cap really makes this wheel. Would be great to have it in red as I think red somehow works with the orange (matches tow hooks and trail rated badge).
2. Black Savegre. In some pics these wheels look amazing, in others they just look like a generic steel wheel. If I'm spending the money, I don't want generic.
3. Argent Pintler. Orange and black has been the dominant theme on the vehicle, but I think this argent could set if of nicely. I'd have to see pics.
4. Argent Savegre. Only reason I'm considering this option is because Argent Savegres seem to show the wheel more.
5. Keep Rubicon Hard Rock Wheels. I don't dislike these wheels at all, in fact they are probably my second favorite wheel closely following the black Pintler - but all the tire pros recommend against running these with 35s (Planning on Duratracs, but would be open to KM2s if they could be mounted safely).
If you've been hiding pics from the forum and have an SO with these wheels, please share!
Argent looks good with any color and makes the wheel pop more. If you want to black out the entire wheel to make it look drab then go with the black rims. I've had a set of Pintlers but I think this time I would Savegre.
I'm the sole vote for the black Saverge. I think if you have black accents already (top/fenders) the black wheels look nice. I debated a lot on what wheels to go with and the Saverge was in it till the bitter end.
If you wait about a week and a half I can show you what these will look like on SO as I have the wheels all set to go, just waiting for Spring Break to have the time to put them on.

If you had mango tango or sunburst or even copperhead i would say argent.i think yours would look better in black I personally like the pintlers but have heard some cracking issues but the savage wheels look really nice
either of the black AEV wheels, don't forget the salta also. Badass wheel. I agree, the centercap is the best part The aev wheels look amazing in person, pics don't do them justice. The pintlers or severages defintely do not look generic in real life. I went with black pintlers and loving them so far
Side note on the center cap...they are completely interchangeable between the wheels. I didn't want the yellow cap on my Pintlers because I thought it was a bit much with all the bright green I have, so I put the color matched Savegre caps on instead. But it works the other way too, so you could have Savegres and the yellow cap if you want. I haven't seen the Salta in person yet, but I assume they follow this trend also.
My vote would be for the Argent Pintlers, because they will look awesome with the Orange, plus everyone has black wheels, do something different.
Decisions decisions we ordered a sun orange 2 dr soft top 1/2 door should be in on 4/10 i have been looking everywhere for some wheel color ideas its a tuff one and seems to depend a lot on the jeep combo itself 2 dr or 4 dr, body color flares, or black flares, full door frames, or 1/2 doors..i like the 1/2 doors because they make the jeep look kind of timeless... back when i was a kid ( late 70s) my sister had a 1970s k5 blazer or gmc jimmy where the top came off all the way to windshield frame in a reddish orange color with polished aluminum wheels it made an impression on me still to this day which influanced my sun orange decision, I think it would be old school cool to do it up in some polished wheels in that color time will tell.. I have been looking at any jeep images in orange to help guide me its an expensive decision but its all in what you like for yourself... this is gonna be an adventure on its own, guess we may need a few sets for all seasons haha
