Best Cheap Mods?

Im looking for some cheap mods for under $100/200 as the next few Sunday projects for my dd 2013jku. So far I've only managed to bed line the wheels for under $20, and add in some rubber floor mats.
What are some of the cheap or crafty mods out there that make daily differences?
There's room for improvement in sound, and I'm running on stock everything. Definitely open to interesting ideas.

There are several threads on this matter. Just search the forum for "cheap mods and mods under 100$" and you will find a lot of input. Welcome :-!

Rugged Ridge has a nice mirror relocation kit. It comes with mirrors that you install when going doorless and remove when you are putting the doors back on. I think the pair was less than a hundred bucks. With this kit you will actually have two mirrors that are usable instead having the factory mirror relocated to a spot where it is useless with some kits that are out there.

But then what would I do with my limited edition Wilson from CastAway antenna topper that I bought two nights ago when I was wasted?

Amazon is dangerous.

Side marker mod is a good one and super cheap. Search for side marker light mod with video and you'll find it. (Could not post link from iPhone.)

Here's a freebie.. Flip your rear view mirror upside down. You'll get a better view of the road.

JK Interior LED Replacement Bulbs

You're welcome, best $30 mod there is. Also removed your carpet, it's free and then you don't have lakes growing underneath if you run with now top when it rains.

Keep in mind that the OP has a 2013, so that may or may not work (some models/packages come with an auto-dimming mirror).

Hidden winch install in factory bumper.

Best added offroad capability for under 400 bucks.

We used the engo e9000 and a harbor freight winch plate.

You can always do a muffler relocate. Remove the resonator and the rear muffler. New muffler is $75ISH give or take a bit, get some clamps, a turn down and you have a new exhaust that is tucked up and not such a rock magnet.

Grille inserts. Many different options ranging from DIY to Metal Cloak. I went with middle of the road price-wise with Drake billet inserts.

Worked with my '13 JKU with the auto dim. Makes a big difference on visibility IMHO.

Can someone go over the flipping of the rear view mirror? What's this?

Did the side marker Mod This weekend. Great add on. Cannot believe it doesn't come like that from factory

Just twist it upside down. I had no resistance in a 2010.

You can buy a can of Plasti Dip for about $6 and black out anything you want.
Emblems, wheels, door hinges...basically anything!

So far, hands down the best mod I have made so far was adding a dead pedal to the driver's side footwell. I have an automatic, so I went with the M.O.R.E dead pedal for about 50 bucks. Bolted it on and adjusted it where I wanted it in about 5 minutes.

Their dead pedal won't work if you have a manual, but I hear you can pretty easily fashion one to fit.

Seems like such a little thing, but having that dead pedal there for my left foot is the best thing I have done to my JK so far.

You can also change the rear license plate light. All you need is a screwdriver. I made mine blue .

Grab handles are another cool mod that are fairly cheap and get a lot of compliments.

One I did recently was paint trim around my air conditioning vents glow in the dark. A couple coats of Michael's paint and some clear coat, pretty cool when it's dark. Trim is also very easy to remove.
