I would check out the ones available at various parts suppliers. I got and older one that I purchased for my Caravan and saved it out of the trade and put it in the back of the jeep. Fits nice and looks nice. It is carpet on one side and flex plastic on the other. Very useful. And CHEAP. That is cheap dollars not product.

quadratec has a nice set that are made to fit. fronts are 50 and the back is 60 i think. i went to autozone and got the thick set for the front for 25 and then ordered the quadratec one for the back. in the back you need a 1 piece or you will ruin the little bit of carpet jks have. the front one at autozone have tabs that you cut around to make it a perfect fit but on ours you just cut all the tabs off and it fits really good. no carpet shows on mine besides if you right foot is muddy and you lay it to the right against the tranny hump. they are about 1/2 in deep and hold water and dirt really well.

Husky holds the most water due to their shape and seems to be the consensus of what's the "best". However, you will pay a little more. Quadratec as mentioned above has a good set. Check out their website as they have many different styles. I have the Mopar ones for summer, but will probably get the ones I mentioned above once winter comes around again.

I have the Jeep front slush mats- love 'em. Just ordered the Q-tec rear cargo liner- when that gets off back-order, I'll let you know how I like it Mark W.

I just bought a set of Husky Liners from Auto Anything. I've have a set in my wife's Pathfinder as well. Love em! My wife will tell you they hold a spilled Super Gulp. They fit like a glove and never slide around.

I have a set in mine, they do hold quite a bit of water.

Mines (no idea what they are, got them with the car, rubber and looking like truck weels :P ) have a small hole and there is a hook on the floor, so they really won't move. And hold anything (including parts of my sunglasses that sometimes fall off...)

Always have used Husky or Weathertech liners....expensive but save your carpets from getting ruined pretty quickly. It looks like the Quadratec are excellent for the $ however and I might try those first.

I have the fronts and the back of these. The backs are actually one peice.
One bit of warning on the backs. If you have all 4 doors off and are going down the x-way at over 60, be prepared to see them lift up and try to exit the vehicle!

I actually found some with "Michelin" stamped on them at Big Lots. They have the ridge around the outside and cells over the inside part of the mat. They will hold a good bit of water. They fit my xj well and cost $15 for the set of 4. If I decide I don't like them I'll just toss them!!!

OK, these reviews for the jeep slush mats just got me to pick up the phone and order a set of 4, front an back from my dealer. They'll have them in tomorrow. I thank you and my wallet thanks you. Hope I like them. They sound pretty good. Gonna need them this summer when I get into the muck at camp, gangs of kids in and out of the jeep. I'll let WF know what I think of them when I get them.

I actually stopped by the dealer on the way home to make sure the color was right as that was not discussed on the phone. I guess they only come in charcoal gray -almost black- so I didn't have to worry about getting the wrong color. They look very nice in the catalog. Hope they work out well in the jeep.

New Floor Mats

They're awesome. They say jeep on them. They are heavy. They say jeep on them. They fit well. They say jeep on them. The price was less than they quoted on the phone (70 something instead of 80 something). They say jeep on them. They look cool and oh yah, did I mention, they say jeep on them. These things are going to get a work-out in my jeep. They'll earn their keep. By the looks of them I probably will still have them when I sell the jeep 30 or 40 years from now.

Thanks for adding that last one. On my old mat set on the driver's side, the carpet was warn off of it where my heel on the gas pedal foot rests on the floor. My caravan had a hole through the mat there. I wonder if I'll wear a hole in these before I sell it? Hard to think that far out.

Guess I stirred up a good question! It would be great to see pictures of the infamous slush mats if someone could snap some.

I'll work on it. My carpets are trashed from winter but I'll snap some pics. Don't know if I can do it before I go on vacation next week but when I'm back I'll get it done. Maybe before vacation we'll see.

Hay, Andy, you made that look too easy! And those are they. See.....the word jeep is on all three pieces, just in case I forgot to mention it. It is hard to tell the thickness from the picture but they are pretty heavy. They look pretty cool in the jeep. The jeeper next door had the same comment...he thought they looked pretty good too. The front two pieces have holes that line up with the hook so they won't be floating around like some do. Hope this helps you to decide. Some of the previous posts got me to move on a set.

those do look pretty cool and heavy....but I was thinking of the ones that actually mold up the sides so that if your muddy or salty food is off to the side that it stops that from getting on carpet as well. The weather tech ones seem to be like that.

Yeah, the RuggedRidge, Quadratec, Weathertech or Husky might be in line with your selection. I was thinking the same so I got the Husky high-lip cargo mat.... (cannot tell you HOW MANY TIMES this liner has saved my #$@ in my Tahoe) ---- holds loose soil, chemicals, water, just about everything and anything.....and my carpet below is still MINT.

Andy, got a link on the Husky? I'd like to look at the cargo area mat. Something with some lip might fit the bill for that area. I'm not so concerned about the passenger area. If that gets messed up with dirt or food I can always get the big green carpet machine out and...gulp...shampoo the carpets. Not too many sneers please!

I've had a chance to check out the floor mats with a lip. I'm not planning on keeping my jeep that clean. In the off chance some slush gets by my jeep uber mats, I'll do cleanup duty....at least once a year. I am second guessing now because I already bought the jeep mats but I wonder if a lip might be a problem catching on boots as you drag them into the jeep on those mornings when you are too lazy to pick them up into the jeep.

I can however see the need for a good cargo mat. I ordered the Q-Tech last night. I thought they looked a little better than the Husky for about the same price.

I just edited out the word car twice...hmm...getting used to not calling my jeep a car.

Jeep - 2009 Jeep Wrangler - Interior - Interior Tour

over here they say "floor carpets are easily removed and feature floor mat retention hooks on both front carpets" so you can actually get it all dirty then just wash it up.
so, who cares about the floor mats :P just kidding, never done that with the full inside wash, I'm happy with my slush floor mats, the carpet under stays clean so far... and when it won't I'll just wash it.
