Best mod for $300

Okay I've got a very small amount of cash burning a hole in my pocket, whats the best mod for $300. I'm leaning towards sliders,
Smittybilt 76633 - Smittybilt SRC Side Armor in Textured Black for 07-12 Jeep® Wrangler JK 2 Door - Quadratec.

or Shocks I swapped out my soft springs for stiffer ones and gained a couple inches so I don't NEED a lift kit. Besides can't get a lift kit WITH shocks for less than $300.
Bilstein Heavy Duty Gas Shock Set for 07-12 Jeep® Wrangler JK & Wrangler Unlimited JK with 0-2" Lift - Quadratec

The bumper I want is over $400 so that's kinda out for now.
Body Armor JK-19531 - Body Armor 4x4 Front High Clearance Bumper in Textured Black for 07-12 Jeep® Wrangler & Wrangler Unlimited JK - Quadratec
Not necessarily from qtec either I just use them because their catalog is easy to navigate.
Any other ideas?
Thanks

Looks like you enjoy the mud, how about a winch and maybe recovery gear? My favorite mod so far was $800 for my sliders, but they're also running boards to help my kids get in & out of the Jeep and as a bonus the side of the Jeep doesn't get covered with mud.

Or Evap relocate and skid, then some'thin purty..... like maybe front grill inserts? One for protection, one for looks...

Kilby has their Evap relocation kit and skid, and it tucks it up out of the way...

Evap Skip is one of the first mods I did.

I did a good discussion about shocks with my shop. One is that you shouldn't use the rubber boots with the gas shop because it can trap moisture and dirt and cause them to fail quicker. It is best to leave the boot off and make sure to wash off the rods when you wash the Jeep.

Then we got to talking about Zone gas Shocks. They are about a third the cost of Blistein. He said he likes them and the shop puts them on plenty of vehicles alone with Blistein and Fox. He does recommend Blistein as a better shock but did admit that Zone may not last as long as Blistien but not by much. And at almost a third the cost they are a very good value shock.

I like the skid plate ideas, and I 'd have some left over for the other skid plate I've been eyeing.

Fits stock bumper that I would like to put stubby ends on, replaces that silly plastic air dam.
Thanks.
Winch is a good Idea but don't have a good mount for it.
Thanks for the shock info rics guess I'll be doing that when I check my breather tubes this week.

Well I went with the evap skid for now. That was a good idea and pretty cheep, leaves some cash for something else. I'm installing a CB antenna for my hand held, maybe I'll just get a decent one to install in the cab.
Thanks for the ideas

you could keep your shocks

JK Wrangler 2.5

but it depends on what wheels you have...if you need spacers for stockers, you may go over your budget.

Evap skid was a good choice take the rest of the money and invest in some heavy duty diff covers, I have the Riddlers and they are much beefer than stock.

Playing in the mud...my vote would be armor. I'd go with evap skid/relocate kit and a pair of diffy covers. Recovery equipment would be next on the list.

LMAO I like your auto sig. I have a fair amount of recovery gear but you never have enough of that.
Diff. covers would look cool also.

Well I pulled the trigger on these today,
Body Armor Rockcrawler Side Guards | Mud Flaps & Rocker Panel Stone Guard | Free Shipping

Went over my $300 by a couple bucks, but will be a little more after I get the Skid Row front skid plate. All in all not to bad.

Snorkel. You need a snorkel. I've seen the video, attempted to duplicate it on Saturday. You, me, we need a snorkel.

Just my opinion....

I just called them since they were a little vague on the details, the first tier is for anything UP TO $250 which is good because my rails were $247  I was afraid I'd missed it by $3.
THANKS for the reminder.
