Best music for wheeling

Fully aware this is completely subjective and there is no right or wrong answer here.

Just curious what really gets you going when cresting that mountain pass or exploring new countryside.

Loading up my music collection with tracks for the occasion next week.

Here are a few of my choices:
Gnarls Barkley - Crazy
Cake - Going the distance
Muse - Knights of Cydonia
Shinedown - Simple Man
Young the Giant - My body
Seether - Rise Above this

Skynyrd anything. You would really rather listen to Shinedown cover Simple Man than hear Ronnie sing it?

Also - Dokken, Van Halen, UFO, Steve Earle, Willie Nelson, and Jerry Reed.

Red Hot Chili Peppers: Naked in the rain (for the obvious circumstance).

Rock, country, or beach music.

I just turn the music off usually. It's nice to listen to nature although it tends to get really quiet when it hears Jeeps coming lol.

I kinda like some really good "classic rock" while cruising.....
But once I get in the trees, That all turns off and I roll the window down and smell the fresh air and fresh cut trees and just kinda let the Jeep make it's own music....
I like to listen to stuff when it starts breaking or something starts going wrong....
Just me, I'm from the 50's n 60's...."BH"

Me too. CB is on, talking to my passengers and the people I'm out with. Also enjoying the little trek through nature. To and from the trail is another story.

Well considering classic rock stations now play stuff from the 90s does that make the older classic rock bands...oldies? I don't know how it works. It makes me feel old that RHCP is playing on classic rock stations lol.

I listen to tons of that stuff, Boston, REO Speedwagon, Foreigner, and earlier stuff, Zeppelin, Hendrix, Cream, even Chuck Berry and Elvis. Great stuff. American music went downhill the day Nirvana hit the airwaves and has never recovered.

Yeah I am almost 40, had a few vinyls back in the day but mostly cassettes. Rocking Kiss and Jethro Tull in my 65 GTO and drag racing Mustangs. Still have the goat and the same taste in music, now I also love to drive around under the open roof and listen to the same old stuff.

60s, 70s and a little 80s. I just can not listen to modern music. 80% of it is made with a computer with some guy with his pants hanging lower than his balls with a gold chain heavier than his head. I'm sorry, I just don't understand the culture...

For night driving, I can't beat Bob Seger or some Floyd The Wall. Most other times it is the classic rock for me. Skynyrd, Boston, AC/DC, Queen, Led. However that new Slash song, World on Fire pumps me up more than any other I have heard in
a while. At 23 years old, most are surprised my my choice of tuneskies but it is what I was raised on
For the record Shinedown over sings every song they do, let alone covers of an amazing song
