I mounted two hella 500 series black magic lights and mounted the switch just below the far left vent. I'll take a picture and post it when I get home.

It took around 4 hours to run the wires properly, note that I'm no professional so I'm sure it is possible to be more time efficient.

You can pop off the end of the dash very easily to install switches, small flat tip will work. Most of us JK guys put the switches here...
(some use the Daystar switches that mount in front of the shifter)

The end panel is to the left of the switches in this pic...

OK... but what does the rocker switch and the round glowing(?) green switch under the steering collumn do?

They power up my flux capacitor....

The rocker is currently not in use, the green switch is for my recessed rear bumper lights...

Needless to post a picture, mine are mounted in the same place as the pictures already posted show.

My switch was a green rocker also and if it helps it takes a 3/4 drill to make it fit snug. You also need something to cut a grove in the side of your hole so the switch can not rotate once in your dash.

Good luck, post pictures when you're done.

In reference to slimlights-the brightness of the rocker switch from the kit was distracting to me. Fortunately I had not drilled the large hole but just mounted with the two little screws. I have since moved the switch to underneath my steering column-along with the switch for my driving lights. If I look down I can still see the glow from the swiches but don't have that (annoying to me) glare in my view all the time.

I installed mine in about 2hrs-but took my time didn't rush anything and other than the switch and adjusting the aim of the lights-haven't had to change anything.

I've taped paper over some lights when I needed to do a long night drive in a Jeep (not mine, so I couldn't do a more permanent solution).
