Best Quality Manufacture for 2.5" Lift Kit

First Post. I just purchased a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. I pick it up next week. I would like to have a a 2.5" Lift Kit installed. I want to use the stock wheels and tires for now. The Jeep will be used for daily street driving and the back 4WD road of Colorado. I really want quality over quantity so price is not really a factor (to a point). I want the best Lift Kit available for a Rubicon. Can you guys chime is on possible vendors? I see in the trade rags vendors such as Teraflex, ReadyLift, Daystar, Trail Master, Rough Country, SuperLift, SkyJacker, and Pro Comp. If shocks are not included in the kit what shocks give the best quality ride for both street and off road driving?

You may want to read this thread http://www.wranglerforum.com/f33/2-5...ed-108169.html. He is running the 2.5" kit from TF with stock wheels and tires and speaks very highly of it.

Hey there.

I don't have first-hand experience with it but I am about to pull the trigger on an Old Man Emu kit.

Everything I've read and a couple of folks at quadratec have all suggested this is the most comfortable lift kit available on road and quite capable off.

Old Man Emu are considered the best from what I here but Teraflex, and BDS are very close. There are several after these that are very good lifts.

i would leave skyjacker off the list. BDS/Zone, Teraflex, Rock Krawler, OME, all make high quality products

they sell stuff based off their name and not their product or performance. With guys like Clayton, shops like Teraflex, Romkin, Rock Krawler and others really setting the bar a lot higher. Skyjacker was a good brand about 15-20 years ago. There are just better options out there for your money if you spend the time and look at what the products do.

I hadn't used them in a while. Man I am getting old. Didn't know they went down hill that much.

For what it's worth my next lift is going to be a BDS 3" lift. Really like their warranty.

Like ESP123 said I love the 2.5" TF kit I just installed. It rides far superior than stock and looks great even with stock wheels and tires.

Ran me $970 from Northridge4x4.

I'd highly recommend it!
