Best Soft Top 2013 Sahara Four Door

What is the best soft top to get for a 2013 Sahara four door. Factory or aftermarket? Which aftermarket do you recommend? Thanks

If you want one that goes on/off the quickest, I'd say factory.

I run an Off Road Heros fastback, but I leave mine off almost all summer, and have a garage to park in.

I just ordered a Sahara 2dr...
the cost difference between "Hard Top" and "Dual Top" was about $1,200..... i just couldn't do it....i just had a feeling that i can get a good after market for less....
So far i think i'm right....i think i can get a BestTop Super Top NX (which i THINK i about the same as the Jeep "Premium" top) for about $800-$900

i'm intersted to see the opinions here....

The supertop is basically the standard factory soft top. It isn't the same as the premium option but if you are rocking the hard top already but just want a summer soft top, I would opt for the supertop.

If you don't want hardware there are 2 or 3 frameless tops that will work, but aren't quite as easy to completely put up and down.

you're right..i stand corrected ....the "TWILL" SuperTop NX is the one that is supposed to be like the Premiu top... but that is BIG money , about $1,500 for the 2dr....AND it looks like i can get the regular SuperTop NX on sale..right now + a $100 rebate from Best Top..which would bring my total down to about $880 shipped...
..and yes i do have a Hard Top

Mike, I am looking at the same top, and have been taking my time pricing them. I am aware of the $100 rebate, but wanted to ask you where that $880 shipped price is coming from? Thanks!

extremeterrain has a similar price after you get the forum member discount.

does QT still do free shipping through google shopping? or do they not have that promo anymore? it might not qualify on large items like tops.

EDIT, at $880 or even $980 from QT, he must be talking about the 2 door top.

their sale price on the JKU top is 1010.70 plus $70 for shipping

And don't forget that Quadratec gives you free shipping for being a forum member and does match internet pricing.

I got the Bestop NX for the JKU for a tick over $600 delivered.

Now waiting for the weather to warm up...

The Supertop NX is exactly the top I recommend. It will fold down just like the factory top and has the same style to it.

We do offer a discount exclusively for Wrangler Forum members, shoot me a PM and I can hook you up with it. Also shipping on orders over $75 is free!

I actually tried to add the supertop to my shopping cart on your site on my lunch break today but I kept getting an error message. Are you guys having issues with your site? It might be my connection though, I'll have to try again later.

Try it again now, it should be ok. I haven't heard of any issues with the site today, but I just tried it and it worked just fine. Let me know if you have any issues I can get a Jeep Expert to call you directly and get your order going.

Just ordered it! might have been the network I was on before.

Top was about $980 out the door, but I added the bestop cleaning kit as well so it came to $1018. And I'll get $100 back through the Bestop rebate.

Best price I have found for the supertop NX on a JKU. thanks for the help!

does the supertop nx come with all that you need or do you have to order all the extra parts? I've found it for all different prices but it seems you have to add the tail gate bar and the surrounds.... I'm looking for the whole package all in 1.

Thanks

I believe the supertop nx comes with everything you need, if you look at the replace a tops, you'll need the stock soft top hardware.

Ok first off thank you for all the replies. So here's where I'm at. I found a factory soft top for $500 bucks on Craigslist. The only thing is its about a 300 mile round trip. It's pretty much brand new. So my question. Is the factory the best option or should I spend some extra money and get a super top?

Looks like the super top pretty much is the factory top. For $500 I'd take it.

If I could have found a factory top on Craigslist I would have gone that route. The only ones I've been able to find have been 3-5 years old, and no guarantee of all the parts being there. I checke ebay as well, but got pretty muchh the same results, or people wanting $1500 for their unused top.

300 miles is a long trip, but its a good savings, it'll cost you a half days time or so and a tank of gas. So if that's worth less than $380 to you, go for it.

Just make sure all of the parts are there before driving all that way, and that its the right top for your JKU. You will also want to confirm what year it is off of, and that it has the sunrider (or whatever the fold back sunroof thing is called) option.

I think it's worth it. All the parts are there and it looks like its in great shape. Tinted windows. It's from a 2011. Not sure if it has the flip open top which I think is called the sun rider option. Mine is a 2013 and it will fit for sure. So looks like I'm heading out there after work today. Thanks.

Snowren24,

Awesome, glad you got it to work! You won't be disappointed with the top, its a great quality top, and the install is super easy.

Shoot me a PM if you have any questions and I'll help you out!

The NX comes with everything you will need to install it. It's meant to be a top for people who have a factory hardtop and want to get a soft top. It comes with all the door surrounds, nuts, bolts, fabric, etc.

Like I said before, the install is insanely easy. You can have it done in about an hour. The instructions are really clear and easy to follow.

Send me a PM if you need anything!

-Zach

Cant wait to get it and for the weather to truly turn here so I can get it on. We got teased over the weekend with 70 degrees, then we got snow yesterday lol. I would have gone topless over the weekend if I had the soft top on already

Snowren24,

It's the same thing here, we had a beautiful weekend, and now they say it might snow tomorrow! I can't wait until its topless season again.

Make sure to post some pictures up of when you get it installed. I love seeing customers rigs with their new parts installed!

If you need anything shoot me a PM!
