Best Top Head Liner

Hopefully this is the correct place to ask my question.

Has anyone installed a Best Top Head Liner into an unlimited soft top? If so, did it actually reduce the noise for highway driving?

I'm looking to make a quieter ride for the kids on long road trips.

Thanks,
Juliet

I didn't even know Bestop made a head liner, but found this on another forum: Bestop Headliner for Soft Top - JeepForum.com

Not sure about putting one on a soft top. Seems like it could impede raising/lowering the top.

Anyway, link above should at least give you some info on whether or not it'll do what you want it to.

THanks for the site! It helped a lot. One of the responders was actually a JK. I think I need to put in a call to Best Top and make sure they will return with no hassles prior to purchasing! Apparently, they gave the guy the run-a-round.

You can also try sending a PM to Geoff@Bestop...he's here on the forum. Or used to be. Haven't seen a post from him in awhile, but I'll bet he's still around. He'll give you straight info on any of the Bestop products.

I got one for my 2 door, the glue for the zelcro started peeling from weight of the liner.......Now this was in heat of TN, so took it out did help with heat and noise but not worth it. I do also agree that it will make putting top up and down a hard task.

mflint, hi-jack away! I like the Rugged Ridge hard top sound deadener/insulation. I haven't tried them, but they look good.

From what I've read, Hot Heads seems to be the best sound/temp insulator for hard tops.
