Bestop HighRock 4x4™ Oversize Tire Carrier

I just finished installing this and I can say they definitely left some parts out and skimped on some things. Such as fitment for brake light, washers, bolt fitment, tire bracket rests, and in a few other areas.

The one most pain in the ass things with this was being able to get a tire on by your self.

I customized this carrier a bit and made a self centering pin (used an old shock bolt) to center + hold the wheel on while you screw the plate on with the t-shaft.

I am sure most people replace the bumper with a swing out carrier but I was not in a position to do that.

I can take pics of the changes I had to make if anyone wants to see the improvements I made to this.

Are those 2 bolts welded to your clamp. Looks good.

I just took a piece of sheet metal, grinded the lines so I could fold it to fit. Then welded it so it was strong.

Makes it SUPER easy to load the tire with one person. Before it was basically a nightmare.
