Bestop HighRock High Access Front bumper

Ima fix'n to pull the trigger on a new Bumper.

I like the Bestop HighRick High Access.

Before I send the money down-range, I figured it's be kinda smartish to ask for the opinions of those of yall who already run with one.

Whatcha think?

Im strapping it to a '12 JKU Sahara, so I ha color matched fenders...not my preference but thats what I have.

should I go Matte or Semi-Gloss?

When I order, do I need to specify that I want it with Fog-Light cut-outs?

Any advice is welcome. THX

Play-on....

I have one, got it in November, Love it, have it on a 2008 Unlimited Sahara, only problem is that i got it from 4wd parts and purchased the bull bar with it, when bumper came, no bull bar, its on back order until February. got the semi gloss. like i said love the bumper, fits great, looks great, price was great, put a Skid Row skid plate under it also.

Well... Just as I was slipping the wallet out of my pocket...I got distracted.

I had been planning on the Bestop 92418 high rock high access bumper.

THen I just discovered the Bestop 92410 which is similar...but different.

It would already be en route but I dont seem to be able to find any photos of it with, or mention of it being available with fog light cut-outs.

I have an email into Bestops customer service on the topic but figured I'd ask yall if you had seen any out there in the wild.

Thanks all.

I've got the high access on mine and think it's great. Easy to install, no need to relocate the pump, fits perfectly. The only downside I've discovered so far, and I think this applies to just about any bumper, is if you get deep in the muck and have to back up it acts like a big scoop and puts a good bit of drag on your Jeep, then it's packed full of mud and debris until you can get in there with a hose to get it washed out.

Factory foglights fit right into the adapter. Total install time is less than an hour.

Looks awesome.
I plan on "creating" some sort of air-dam / skid plate to go from the bottom of the bumper to the front cross member. With sill help with aerodynamics as well as reduce drag (forward and backward).

Does anyone know if the 92410 model has fog light cut-outs?

I have my answer

The 92410 is NOT available with foglight cut-outs

Which means that I am either:
a) Back the the 92418...still an awesom bumper
or
b) I spend a little more for the 92410 and just mount my added lighting on top of the bumper.

Ohhh the stressful choices of modern life.

Did you ever make a decision? I'm looking at the 44918-01, Bestop HighRock 4x4 High Access Front Bumper with fog cut outs in matte black.

I love this look, but my concern is I want to get flat fenders. Will this stick out farther than the fenders?

I am also looking into this bumper for my 2013 Rubicon. As I am in Texas I have to have a front license plate, can anyone tell me if it has a way to mount the plate? And, how much does it weigh? It looks awesome, I think I'm going to go for it!

I have the Bestop High Rock stubby, which is just like the high access, but without the part in front of the wheels. If you look close in this pic, just below and to the right of the fairlead, you can see one of the holes for a front license.

also if you look on the pic here you can see the holes.

I'd also like to know if anyone has added a skid plate to one of these bumpers for added undercarriage protection? If so how expensive and difficult was that to add?

Thanks! I appreciate it. I thought I could see them in the manufacturers pictures but I was afraid it was just wishful thinking. I think I might be making some phone calls tomorrow to see about getting me one of these bumpers!

Skid Row Offroad skid, bolts right on. I drilled a couple extra holes if I remember. Also you can see the licence plate holes in this pic.

Congrats!! I haven't selected a bumper yet for mine. As far as license plates - lived in TX for 22 years and NEVER had a front license plate and all of the times I got pulled over for speeding violations, they never violated me on not having front plates.

It is a law here in Utah but when I got my plates a couple of weeks ago I told the service department not to install the fronts (in fact I took the plate and stashed it) as I was going to change out bumpers eventually.

San Marcos - nice area - I went to college there in the early 80's. Partied more than I should have so ended up dropping out.

Thanks for the advice!

I love San Marcos, I graduated in 2009. Unfortunately I am moving this week to NW Houston for work. Oh well.

Looks Nice!

Im already looking at rear bumpers as well. Although that will have to wait quite a while. Doing it a little bit at a time. A very little bit at a time.
I will be sticking with the stock fenders. I don't plant on getting aftermarket rims, and therefore will be sticking to close to stock size on the tires (Not sure how large I can actually go on the stock rims. I do plan on getting wheel spacers at some point). My Jeep is my daily driver, it spends a lot of time running down highways and backroads to and from projects. Most of the time it spends off-road is for work (in the national forests). during the last field season, last spring, my old Cherokee took me through six states in six months. I am looking to add some extra wheeling to my agenda, now that I have a vehicle with 4WD. I love my Jeep and will use any excuse possible to drive it. It does make me a little sad when I look down at the odometer and realize I've put right at 9000 miles on it and I've only had it a touch over 3 months. Oh well, Jeep on!

I like mine too. I don't have a winch yet, but put some extra lights on in the mean time. Mine is coated with Rustoleum bed liner. I also have the same Skidrow front skid plate.

I finally got my hands on the bumper. It's been sitting at the girlfriend's house for a week or so. I'll be hanging it Saturday. So far everything looks good, Northridge4X4 got it to me super quick, and I have to say the Factor 55 "Super Shakles" they recommended are beastly! Maybe a bit overkill being that they are rated for 6.5 tons, but I am super excited for Saturday!

Thanks for posting all the pics, guys, I really like the look of this bumper. Liked the ACE midwidth but decided on going full width to avoid legal/liability issues later on (and want that little bit extra fender protection). Just ordered the HighRock High Access from Morris 4x4 as a "scratched" special, with grill hoop, for under $500 delivered -- waiting on UPS. The only concern I have is, based on a Youtube vid, how stout it will be when winching (flex much?) for when I get around to adding one.
