Bestop or Mopar

I'm looking at getting a premium twill soft top and am trying to decide between Bestop or Mopar. Is the Mopar version worth the extra $300+? Aren't they the exact same or is there differences in quality?
Thanks

The OEM tops are made by Bestop. Just can't sell that version commercially: has to go through the dealers. I'd do OEM (Mopar) if it was part of the sale of a new Jeep. If not, and I had to go aftermarket, I'd go with the Frameless top. The whole goal is just protection from the elements until it's nice enough to take it off.

I have the Bestop Twill NX and it's fantastic. I've had no leaks or any problems at all.

Ask what the MOPAR warranty is.... Bestop twill get a 'limited lifetime' warranty, I'm sure there are a million outs that void it, but its a good starting point. It is one of the reasons I bought my Trektop NX in twill and not the black diamond.

I was looking at the Mopar premium or Supertop NX for a 2 door. That's a good point on warranty. I'll ask. I see that the Mopar top doesn't use bows so they aren't the same.

I am on my fourth Wrangler. I have owned many Best tops. Nothing compares to the Mopar Premium Soft top. Nothing.

I have the bestop twill replacement top. No difference at all when compared with an oem top. Only had mine 18 months and the metal end came off the rear window zipper. Nothing major but bestop sent a complete new top.

Is this the full top including hardware or just twill fabric?

just the soft top itself and windows. I already had an OEM soft top on my 2011. I used the OEM frame with new twill top. I think the frame that bestop sends out is better than the OEM frame. It has the arch support over the front seats to help water drain better. It's also adjustable to maintain tightness after the tops stretch from use.

I have the Supertop NX and I love it. The first few times it's kind of a hassle, but it loosens up and now I can put it up in about 2 minutes (and that includes my spiderwebshade which I don't remove). Taking the top down takes even less time.

For the windows, add maybe a minute. They're much easier now, too.
