Bestop Price Question

I have a question about Bestop soft tops... JCWhitney sent me a catalog today where they have a $100 rebate on these tops. I went to their website to price it out, and I entered the information that they requested and the site says I can get the top for $836.99 + $12 heavy item surcharge and $0 shipping or tax. They then have a link to the Bestop website where they are offering a $100 rebate on the supertop (which is what I would be getting... so the total price would be $748.99.

Is that a good deal that I should jump on?

Also, I have the factory hard top on right now, when I remove the hard top to install the softop hardware... can the hardware remain on the truck when I put the hard top on? Or will the hard top not fit with the extra hardware in place?

Thanks!!

That is a good price, I paid a lot more then that for mine. I would go for it and I'm not sure about the frame. I have an o6 unlimited and I have to remove the soft top frame to replace the hard top, (like I'm ever going to do that again).

Another idea is to look on Craigslist- there are ALWAYS people selling their OEM softtops, especially up here in the Northeast as winter approaches Check it out- Mark W.
