Bestop Twill Supertop NX air leak

So last week I installed the Bestop Twill Supertop NX. When I hit 20+ mph it is clearly evident that air is intruding into the cabin from the vacinity of the middle of the header. It sounds like a high pitched draft of air rather than the noise created by just driving the vehicle. Nowhere else is there noise, just around the middle of the header.

I have put foam sealing on various parts in an effort to stop the air but nothing has worked. I even put it across the entire contact area between the top and the jeep. Nothing even affects it.

This is my first jeep and I can't believe this is normal. Does anyone have any advice on locating the leak or ending the noise? It's actually a bit maddening.

Help is appreciated.
Thanks.

The nx install typically requires you screwing the top on to the header bar. You should see some screw heads on the underside of the header. I would check there to make sure the fabric is not bunching and the screws are in all the way.

Just wanted to assure you that that is not normal. A little water leak might be normal but thats definitely a problem...

Also lower the top and check the condition of the rubber seal that is along the windshield. Could be a chunk missing out of it...

I spoke to the retailer, Morris 4x4, and they are putting in an order for a new top. I sent the rep pics and a video of how the top performs. Thus far the rep has been very helpful in starting this process. Appreciative of good CS.
