Besttop Summer Top ???

I want to take the hardtop off for the summer. I'm not sure what i need to get for a summer top. Will i need a front channel for the top to attach? My last jeep had a besttop, so there was a channel already there. I'll leave it on all summer and would like a full cover Bikini top. Thanks... Here's a pic with all the mods so far.

If you talking about the summer combo with the bikini top/windjammer/duster, it does not come with the door surrounds.

Hey rics1997 --
So I've been going back/forth about this one... and haven't found much information: what's the deal with the door surrounds?

What I've come to understand is that it's a nice to have, and would minimize (almost eliminate?) leaks in case of rain.

I am planning on getting the bikini combo for the summer, and pretty much leaving it on for the most part. The Jeep will be in covered parking during day/night, and the biggest risk would be catching some rain during daily commute, which I think it can handle. For any extended trips, I can always watch the weather and plan accordingly.

I got mine last year and drove it without the surrounds for about a month before ordering door surrounds. You can get by. If I thought it would rain I would make sure to pull the edge of the top over the door and that helped. If you have a garage to park in then you can get by but it still not as nice as having door surrounds. It also cuts down wind noise a lot

Without surrounds. See how the top wants to go behind the door lip

I only want a bikini over the top, from front to back. Protection from the sun.

The one from front to all the way to the back is the Safari Bikini top

Might want to consider the Bestop Trektop NX. Its a frameless that converts into a bikini., and i know Rics1997 has one. And almost posative thats what is pictured in his post, but he could correct me. And as a bonus it comes with factory type door surounds.

Trek top NX is a great top. I run it in safari mode most of the time with doors on and off. It's worth getting the NX to get the door surrounds, cable system and sunrider. The cable system and door surrounds really give a good fit.
