biggest tire size on a stock '13 jk?

I just got a 2013 sport unlimited jk and it has the smallest wheels and tires I've ever seen...they're embarrassing. I have a 2000 xj on 35s and it's my baby, but I know nothing about wranglers. What's the biggest tire size I can fit under this thing with no rub? And what size wheels should I go with? I've seen a lot of 16s for sale but I feel like that's too small...any help would be appreciated!

Stock, largest tire is 32. And i think for wheels you can go down to 15s

My friend at work put 33x12.50x20s on the SRT replica wheels. He had to use a 0.5" spacer cause he didn't get the offset right. If you get the offset right you can 33s or you can take off or trim the front splash shield cause it will rub it. Wish I had 35s on my XJ, got 31s with a 2" spacer lift on it. Plan on bigger lift & 33s eventually for it. Going to get it PlastiDipped soon though.

With flat fenders 37's.

33 for sure and I believe 34's unless you're going to really flex it.

For the past 2 weeks I was running 285/70-r17 Bridgestone AT Revo2's on a 17x9 4.5" BS wheel.....and only had rubbing on the front air dam in reverse at full lock. That being said, I did not have an opportunity to really flex it out, and really worried about hitting the outer fenders. Yesterday I put on a 2" coil lift....no more rubbing at all, and I do not fear pushing the tire into the outer fender.

You have any pics? I was looking at both the BFG and Nitto 33s. Did you need spacers with the stock wheels? How's your tread wear on the highway?

Plenty of folks run 33s stock, though they will rub the fender flares if you flex the suspension offroad.

Many run 15" wheels on Wranglers, though you just have to take care to get the appropriate backspacing or they'll rub the brake calipers.

Otherwise, this is like asking what color pants you should buy. There are hundreds of choices, all of which are perfectly reasonably. It's a matter of preference.

In general, most Wrangler owners stick between 15" and 18" diameter wheels. 15s, 16s, 17s, and 18s are all reasonable choices. 20" wheels--unless you're going to accompany them with 40" tires--tend to get a little big to be practical offroad. They tend not to leave much sidewall for flexing and get damaged as a result.

Otherwise, up to you.

i'm looking at the SRT replicas... what size does he have? i've seen flat black 20" wheels, are they the same? if so, do they look alright? 20" wheels seem a bit big... pics?
