Bikini Top -- Freedom Top Question

Howdy all:

We just picked up our 2010 JK Unlimited yesterday, and we're loving it. I've had Jeeps consistently for twenty-five years, but this is my first Wrangler. What a great machine!

I've got a quick question that we haven't been able to solve by searching the 'net. Our Wrangler is a dual-top, but we figure we'll end up keeping the Freedom top on most of the time, and we'll just pop out the two front panels on nice days. Then we wondered whether anyone makes a bikini that's designed to go on when the back of the freedom top is still on, but the front two panels are removed. We were thinking it would be cool to just leave the two front panels off, and then have a cloth top to stretch over it overnight -- but also something we could drive around in, and might provide at least some weather protection.

Anyone know if something like this is available?

Thanks so much!

Bill S.

I don't know of anything, but try taking the top all the way off, and while you're at it take the doors off too. Take that baby for a spin and see if you don't come up with some other plans!

It's not a bikini top but a SpiderWeb top may work. I know I can put the soft top on with my Spiderweb still attach but I can't speak to the hard top. We were going to order the Mopar OEM bikini top this month but we like the SpiderWeb so much that we are sticking with it.

I have the SpiderWeb ShadeTop also. I thought I heard that the newer ones have two holes on the top so you can screw the freedom panels on without removing the mesh top.

Mesh freedom panels...

Why didn't I think of that? That's an AWESOME idea

I'm gonna go wander around Lowe's now and see what kind of ideas pop into my head...

I remember something there, I'll check out it out tonight and then compare it to my neighbor's hard top configuration.

Great news!!!
Just released THIS WEEK is the SpiderWebShade JKini!
check the link in my signature, go to products, and scroll down to the new Bikini for the JK.

I LOVE MINE! No mounting hardware, dosen't move around and fits under the soft or hard top without having to remove it.
